As an Operation Christmas Child drop off point at St Margaret’s Church on Dunham Road in Altrincham (opposite the Cenotaph) we have filled 300 boxes ourselves.
Our church fundraises and collects toiletries, gifts and educational items all year round as well as having a group of ladies from around the borough (both worshippers and non-worshippers) knitting away at hats, gloves and scarves which go into every box.
We would especially like to thank Rick and Sam at Grapevine Computers for their advertising and enthusiasm, Faddies Drycleaners in Hale for filling 50 boxes and the Marriott Hotel, Hale Barns.
We are already collecting for 2011 with a target of 600!!
