There’s an old Chinese proverb which goes along the lines of “There’s none so blind as those who don’t want to see”.
Over a month ago, I posted a message on Trafford’s website drawing their attention to the neglected and overgrown hedges on the approaches to Timperley Metro station.
An automated reply was promised within 3 working days. No reply received and needless to say, no hedges cut yet by Trafford’s wonderful new contractor AMEY.
These hedges have not been cut for over 12 months and pedestrians are risking life and limb stepping into the busy carriageway to pass people.
AMEY’s contract is clearly not working out.
Will we have to wait until a pedestrian is knocked down before anything is done ?
How long will it be before we see balls of tumbleweed blowing down Park Road ?
Sunny Jim,
Timperley
