Not content with selling off the library and half the car park behind it, it now appears that the Conservative council are ready to nod through planning permission for eleven more flats on the vacant land at the back of the Rajdan Indian take-away, opposite the existing library on Baker Street.
The proposed eleven flats will have no car parking provision at all, but will have a bicycle rack.
Apparently the Conservative council are minded to accept this. Those of us currently trying to park in the village are not. But then, what do we matter when there's a profit to be made?
