I HAVE been prompted to write to you following your article concerning the downgrade of Trafford General.

I would also like to express my concern regarding this.

I moved back to Urmston two years ago and in that time I have had need to use the urgent care centre twice and my elderly mother (when visiting) three times.

In all cases, we were dealt with efficiently, professionally and sympathetically.

If the facilities had not been available, I don't know what we would have done.

If there is any way in which I can support a continued urgent care presence, I would be very happy to do so.
