THE new development on the old Waggon and Horses pub site in Sale is a long time coming to improve the area and provide more housing, but why does it have to have retail on the ground floor?
We have enough empty shops in Sale already on Washway Road.
The old rules need changing in respect of residential and commercial activities on designated areas.
The next row also needs pulling down as soon as possible and all residential replacing it.
