FAO drivers using Stamford Park Road, Hale.

The speed reduction signs clearly show the priority of traffic when driving from Moss Lane towards Lloyd Street.

It clearly states this in writing and also shows two arrows, a big black arrow for the right of way and a small red arrow to note otherwise.

On the past three occasions I have driven down this road, and have had the priority, I had to stop because an oncoming vehicle is on the other side of the sign and is on the wrong side of the road, as they are intending to come through the gap against the priority.

Fortunately, I have realised immediately and braked just in time but the oncoming car has had difficulty to squeeze through.

I have avoided the other car hitting me head on in the narrow gap. When I have wound down my window to point out the sign and their error, I have been met with verbal abuse.

Be warned, I am a claims adviser and I know that, if I am unable to brake in time and am hit, then your insurance company will advise you of your error and have to pay my claim.

Am I just unlucky in coming across these idiots or are the idiot bad drivers just multiplying?
