I WAS absolutely livid on May 12 whilst visiting my mother at Pavilion Gardens in Old Trafford. Cars were awash with parking tickets due to a cricket match taking place at the Emirates Old Trafford. People who leave there cars in the vicinity obviously don’t know that if there is a match on there is limited parking time.
Ok, I can understand matches at Old Trafford Football ground attract over 75,000 but a second division cricket match has hundreds attending.
Whilst the council give out loans for millions, cut hundreds of jobs and the council leader receiving a pay rise it is disgusting the local workforce has to face fines for parking on the way to work.
