I AM one of the volunteers who four years ago opened and still runs Larkhill Dementia Cafe, held at Larkhill Community Centre, Thorley Lane, Timperley.

Several times we have had unwanted personal items donated to us which have been very useful to our clients at the Dementia Cafe.

We have been able to re-distribute unwanted, (and obviously unused) incontinence pads, bed pads, briefs, wipes etc, in fact all manner of personal care items, no longer needed by clients for one reason or another.

If any readers have any unwanted personal care items that they no longer need, they can always bring them to the Dementia Cafe which is held twice per month on a Saturday morning.

Anyone with dementia will be very welcome to join in the activities, and support, while taking advantage of any ‘personal care’ items, we may have at that time for redistribution.

Please phone Dawn for further information on 07708430887.
