I WOULD like to send a big thank you to all the staff at Wythenshawe Hospital and Trafford General Hospital for caring for my health with respect and dignity.

All the doctors, consultants, sisters and nurses, ambulance staff, kitchen staff, and cleaning staff were very good, and always worked with a smile.

I was thrilled to see that a multicultural staff was working in harmony just like in my Harmony Multicultural Association, with members from various nationalities.

May God give them good health in 2014 and forever.

I would like to see multicultural staff in Bowdon, Sale, Timperley, health centres/medical centres, in libraries, in schools, in shops and in post offices, in the near future.

I have lived in Bowdon for 27 years and in Sale area for 11 years. My experience of 38 years is that these areas are very slow in procuring multicultural staff.

This was the first time that I celebrated Christmas and New Year at the Trafford hospital.

I am sending all of my Harmony members and my family all over the world a belated Happy New Year and lots of love.

Kailash Kalpna Khurana, hon. chairman and founder of Harmony Multicultural Association
