YOUNGSTERS at a Timperley boxing club got some tips off a top boxer last week.

Former British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla called into Timperley Community Amateur Boxing Club.

The visit coincided with the gym having double reason to celebrate.

The centre, on the Broomwood estate, has been open i2 months - and the club has also had its first champion, with Dylan Bowen Booth claiming the 32kg North West Schoolboys Championship.
