Relay Team Challenge announced for Greater Manchester Marathon 2013

ORGANISERS of the Greater Manchester Marathon have announced an addition to the 2013 race, the Relay Team Challenge.
It is aimed at runners of all levels who want to experience the marathon day atmosphere without tackling the full 26.2 miles.
Instead, friends, club mates, work colleagues and family members can sign up as a team of four, covering the marathon distance between them.
Teams are made up of four runners, and each of them will cover one leg of the relay.
The chosen team captain needs to go to the website www.greatermanchestermarathon.com to enter and to register the team’s details. The entry fee for the team is £120.
The event takes place on April 28.
