Century up for James
BOWDON resident James Barnes, pictured, completed his 100th Marathon at Blackpool on March 11 - on his 52nd birthday.
He reached his century just six years after he began running.
James is a former pupil of Altrincham Grammar School and has run marathons in the USA and Europe and throughout the UK.
His efforts have raised several thousands of pounds for several charities, including NSPCC and cancer charities.
