ALTRINCHAM Kersal second XV were crowned Halbro North West League Division Two South champions aftef beating fellow promoted side Glossop 46-15 at Stelfox Avenue.
Tries came from Oli Wright (two), Alex Jordan (two), Sean Clayton, Conor Whyley, Jack Braithwaite and Dan Quinn, and there were three conversions from Paul Howarth.
The jubilant seconds are now hoping to finish in style by winning more silverware this weekend in the BEST Trophy final against Didsbury TocH at Burnley RUFC, kick off 1.45pm.
Elsewhere, Kersal's Under-17s junior colts lost 39-12 against Birkenhead Park in the Cheshire Plate final after a close run affair.
Their tries came from Derry O'Driscoll and Max Brookes, Brookes adding a conversion.
The U13s were also on the wrong end of their result, losing 50-20 against Lymm.
