URMSTON entertainer Wayne Devlin and his wife, Val, are preparing for their annual Christmas charity concert ‘Croon Into Christmas’.
The event, to be held at the John Alker Club on Flixton Road on November 25, will raise funds for the Trafford based charity ‘Once Upon A Smile’.
Wayne said: ‘This is a charity that does amazing work and really needs the support of the community. I am hoping that we raise lots of funds at our event that we know will really make a difference to the lives of those families who so desperately need the support that Once Upon A Smile’ provide."
The event will be filmed by Sky Channel 212 and there will be some celebrity guests. There will also be a raffle and an auction with prizes including a signed Manchester City shirt and a signed Coronation Street script.
Tickets for Croon Into Christmas can be purchased at Home Estate Agents in Urmston and Stretford or you can buy online at www.waynedevlin.com
As well as ‘Croon Into Christmas’ there are also chances to see Wayne performing at Urmston’s Christmas Lights switch on event at Queens Road on November 24, at the Timperley Christmas lights event on December 1 and at Woodhouse Primary School's Christmas fair on December 2.
