Fire at Urmston supermarket
FIRE crews tackled an oven fire at a supermarket in Urmston at the weekend.
Crews scrambled to Sainsbury’s in Golden Way at around 1.30pm on Sunday November 20.
They found a rotisserie oven alight and used a hearth kit and thermal imaging camera to extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters were at the scene for 55 minutes. The cause of the fire was accidental. No injuries were reported.
