I have just witnessed the children from Our Lady of the Rosary Primary School in Davyhulme doing a litter pick in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday around the Laburnum Road and Broadway area in Davyhulme.
I wish to thank the children and teachers for doing an excellent job as a local resident.
Last week, staff from Amey’s One Trafford had spent several days cutting back the shrubbery and litter picking in the same area and, as far as I can see, the children did a far superior litter pick.
I ask the question, what are we paying council tax for?
