Warning after woman preys on elderly residents in door to door Old Trafford scam
Police have issued a warning after reports a fraudster is preying on elderly residents in Old Trafford.
A black woman has been operating a door-to-door scam in the area, targeting older people in particular.
She knocks on the door and asks for £1 as her father is in hospital.
The woman is known to police.
Trafford South GMP are advising people to be vigilant and ensure their family and friends are aware of the scam.
