FORTY-EIGHT employees at recruitment specialist Hays, Altrincham took part in a gruelling 24 hour charity challenge in Snowdonia.
On June 20, their day of activities involves running, hiking, cycling, canoeing and solving brain teasers.
The money raised will go towards the Brain Tumour Charity and they have set a £3,000 target.
Lucinda Platt, an administrator with Hays, said before the challenge: “Our aim is to raise over £100,000 over two years to fund a new centre of excellence which will be dedicated to carrying out world-class research.
“As it will be a demanding challenge both physically and mentally we feel that once we have completed it there will be a massive sense of achievement.”
Brain tumours affect more than 9,000 people every year and the Hays team are determined to raise awareness and funds for their charity.
