A CCTV image has been released after Ashton-on-Mersey School was burgled on the pupils’ first day back to school.
The Cecil Avenue school was trespassed by a man at around 10.30am on Monday September 5, the same day pupils returned after the summer break.
He fled the scene a bag, mobile phone, iPad and laptop.
The bag was recovered from Cecil Road.
The suspect has been captured on CCTV. He is described as 6ft, white, wearing a grey hooded top with black stripes down the arm, black trousers and black trainers.
Anyone with information about this crime should contact the police on 101.
