AN elderly woman has been injured after falling into a road in Sale.
Emergency services were called to Woodhouse Lane at around 3.50pm on Monday June 6, after reports a woman had a fallen onto the road.
She was not able to be moved immediately because of her injuries and her family were called to her side whilst she waited for ambulance crews to arrive.
A rapid response vehicle and two ambulances were called to the scene and the woman was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital.
Police are advising motorists travelling in the area to expect delays.
