GLEBELANDS City Growers in Sale will play host to the ninth annual Open Farm Sunday this weekend (June 8).
The nationwide event, organised by Linking Environment and Farming, gives visitors a chance to learn how their food is grown.
The day is not all about vegetables, though - there will be tractors and machinery on display and people can also learn about bees and bee-keeping.
Annabel Shackleton, manager of OFS, said: “Visitors will get a fascinating insight into aspects of the countryside that they wouldn’t normally see.”
The free event at the Glebelands market garden off Glebelands Road is open 11am-4pm with guided tours at 11.30am and 2pm.
