SCHOOL children witnessed a brawl between parents outside Partington Primary School.
It is believed a man and a woman were collecting a child at the school on Central Road at around 3.30pm on September 18 when they were set upon.
They were punched and kicked during the disturbance and suffered minor injuries.
Three women were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police are investigating the possibility of a dispute between two families.
