THE Stamford Orchestra, better known for their concerts at Altrincham Market Hall, have changed venues for their next one.
It will be at St Peter’s Church, Hale on Monday, October 24 at 7pm.
They will perform Mendelssohn’s popular overture, The Hebrides (Fingal’s Cave) and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 in F (The Pastoral).
The highlight of the evening will be Mozart’s Concerto for Horn No 4 in E flat major featuring soloist Laurence Rodgers, principal horn with the Halle Orchestra, and the conductor will be Thomas Davey.
Profits will go to Syria Relief.
