ALTRINCHAM artists have a whole weekend dedicated to celebrating their creative work.
The George Allen Foundation is holding an arts and crafts event at The Café in the Park, in Mayors Road, on Saturday and Sunday June 18 and 19.
The event will feature paintings from some of Altrincham’s most notable artists from the past, the present and the future, including George Allen, Karen Wroe, Basil Morrison, Margaret Norris and Alexander Montgomery.
There will also be a selection of cards and prints by Catherine Hart, face and zappy pot painting with Lynn Bingham, and a crystal craft stall by Gemma Reeves.
The event will be open 11am-4.30pm daily.
Ten per cent of all sales to go to The Counselling and Family Centre.
