A 15-YEAR-OLD boy suffered a bruise to the brain and a fractured cheek after being punched in the face by another youth in Altrincham.
The boy was attacked on the fields of Kersal Rugby Club, on Stelfox Avenue, between 6 and 6.30pm on Friday June 3.
The victim was punched in the face twice by a mixed race boy, who was around 16 years old, 5β8, slim build, with short dark hair, which was shorter on the sides.
The attacker was one of a group of around 12 youths of the same age.
A police spokesperson said: βThe victim received injuries of a bruise to the brain and a fractured cheek bone so the injuries are quite serious for a young lad.β
