GET on your 1980s gladrags and get along to a community get together in Flixton.
Save Flixton Green Belt Community Campaign Group is marking the 12 month anniversary since it discovered that green space in the village was threatened with development, by throwing a party.
The group is organising the event in recognition of the way in which the community has come together to fight these proposals.
It is inviting everyone to don their curly perms, pop socks and dungarees and to come and join them at the 80s tribute fundraiser at the John Alker Memorial Hall, Flixton Road M41 6QY on Saturday, October 21 at 7 30pm.
Tickets are £6 on the night or £5 in advance at Bargain Booze, Woodsend Road, Flixton.
