The community of Urmston united for a a 'Picnic in the Park' - in tribute to murdered MP Jo Cox.
The event, hosted by councillors Joanne Harding and Karina Carter was on Golden Hill Park on June 17 as part of the Jo Cox Foundation Great Get Together.
Cllr Harding said "What a wonderful day in the sunshine.
"The community came together to celebrate what a great place Urmston is and to pledge to play our part in strengthening our community.
"We raised £200 which was donated to The Jo Cox Foundation and the wonderful Golden Hill Park women's bowlers raised another £175 for cancer charities as young and old played 'crazy bowls'.
"Thanks to Wayne Devlin and other fantastic local musicians for giving their time too. We are hoping this will be an annual event for us all to come together "
