PARAMEDICS and firefighters helped a 100-year-old woman who had fallen out of bed in Ashton-on-Mersey.
Emergency services were called to her home, on Woodhouse Lane, at around 10.30pm last night.
Firefighters were able to free the woman’s arm, which had become trapped in a bed guard, and Fire Service trauma technicians gave her oxygen therapy.
She was cared for by paramedics but the woman did not wish to go to hospital.
