AN ALTRINCHAM opticians helped raise money for charity last week when its staff dressed in all pink.
The Specsavers store in Altrincham managed to raise a total of £157 for Breast Cancer Care.
As well as dressing in pink-coloured outfits, fundraising activities also included selling pink cakes in a cake sale which was set up outside of the store.
Stephen Kirkham, store director at Specsavers Altrincham, said: “It was great to see all of the staff getting involved and creating awareness about this important charity, their enthusiasm was very admirable.”
One in eight people is diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and Breast Cancer Care helps provide emotional and practical support for anyone affected. The charity also promotes the importance of early detection.
