THE Friends of Navigation Recreation Ground, Altrincham, recently won a £3,000 Trafford Housing Trust grant to hold a summer adventure project in the park for children.
It will run on August 20, 21 and 24-28 from 9am to 5pm each day for children aged from seven to 14. Thanks to the grant, parents will have to pay only £5 per child per day.
Youngsters will be able to try their hands at forest skills, outdoor sports, arts and crafts, environmental projects and many more fun activities.
There are 20 places available each day, so those interested should book up as soon as possible.
