TRAFFORD-Park Russell Homes has partnered with Halton Housing Trust to deliver a £14m development of 175 new homes at Tan House Lane in Widnes.
The housing association will take 133 homes for private and affordable rent, while Russell Homes will release 42 for sale to the open market.
The development will see the regeneration of a former industrial site which will be transformed with new housing, road infrastructure, pathways, green open spaces and a playground.
Construction is scheduled to start in May 2015 with phased delivery over the next two years.
