A FIRST aid training charity has received a boost - thanks to the fundraising efforts of a Sale Moor guide unit.
Members of 2nd Sale Moor Guides were given £1 each to invest in a money-making scheme.
They came up with a host of initiatives including car cleaning, selling cakes they had made, and buying and selling sweets.
They raised a total of £550 for Millie's Trust.
The girls also benefited from receiving first aid training from the charity over three weeks.
