A SCRAP metal collection is being held in Hale this weekend to boost the Christie.
People are being urged to bring scrap metal items to a skip that will be located between Costa Coffee and the bowling green, on May 9.
Any metal items large or small will be acceptable with the exception of small electrical items.
The collection is to raise funds for ground-breaking equipment for the leading cancer care hospital.
Broadheath scrap metal firm J Davidson will donate the skip.
