ALLIED Roofing and Construction Limited recently hosted an activity morning at the Trafford Housing Trust-owned sheltered accommodation Manor Court in Sale.

The organisations joined forces with Trafford Council to hold the event, which took place to mark the end of Manor Court’s refurbishment, commissioned by the trust and undertaken by Allied Roofing and Construction Limited.

It involved 12 children from The Firs Primary School visiting Manor Court sheltered accommodation for a day of Easter themed arts and crafts. The activities included an Easter hat competition, with the winner being crowned at the end of the morning.

The event was organised as a ‘thank you party’ to the residents for their patience after the building was closed during refurbishment and an extension was added to the building.

At the end of the morning The Firs Primary were presented with a £1000 cheque for a charity of their choice.
