HALE Civic Society Butterflies group is to have a talk on March 18 at Hale Library, Leigh Road, Hale at 2pm.
Gordon Allen of the George Allen Appreciation Society is to talk about his father's art.
George Allen was a talented water colour artist who had varying styles. He lived in Hale, was a member of Altrincham Society of Artists and exhibited his paintings at Hale Library a number of times.
Trafford Council asked him to create a couple of postcards depicting the Old Market Place and Goose Green after the formation of Trafford Council.
Recently Gordon exhibited some of his father's work at Hale Library.
