TRAFFORD Rowing Club, based in Walton Park in Sale. is holding its annual head of the Bridgewater race on February 21.
The racing starts at 9.30am with a 1km race from Timperley Park Road Bridge to Walton Park. Divsion 2 is at 12noon along a 3.2km course from Oldfield Marina to Walton Park, and Division 3 is at 2.30pm along the same course.
Crews from clubs all around the north west and further afield will be racing with up to 180 boats competing. All welcome, refreshments available in the scout hut at Walton Park. If any local companies would like to sponsor a race, get in touch with Jill Lees on trafford.rc.women@gmail.com.
