THE Willows Primary School's first-ever fun run and family fun day were a runaway success.
The events were held on September 24 at the Timperley school.
There were three runs for pupils of various ages, who all received a medal and a healthy goodie bag at the finish line.
The fun continued with traditional games of Beat the Goalie and an obstacle course as well as the less traditional Human Hungry Hippoes.
The fire and police services also attended and let the children explore their engine and van.
Tractor rides around the school play field also proved very popular with the children while the barbecue and cake stall were enjoyed by all. The event finished with a raffle with prizes donated by businesses.
A grand total of over £2,500 was raised by the Willows PTA.
