BUSY Bees nursery in Altrincham is celebrating after receiving a glowing report following its latest Ofsted inspection.

The inspector visited the nursery in October and carried out their duties under the new inspection standards introduced in September 2012.

Children's needs were found to be fully met at the nursery which received a rating of 'Good' overall in three areas that included -

* meeting the needs of the range of children who attend;

* contributing to the well-being of the children;

* the effectiveness of leadership and management.

Staff at Busy Bees were also praised for being "positive role models" for the youngsters there.

Nursery manager Helena Stubbings said: "It is incredibly rewarding to receive this acknowledgement from Ofsted praising the quality of care and education. The endorsement proves that all our hard work is recognised and the care we strive to provide is delivered.

"I am very proud of the whole team. All the staff at the nursery work tirelessly to ensure that every area of care and education is provided at the highest level for our children and their families."

The nursery marked its good Ofsted report with a celebration evening for parents.
