A TEAM from Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is hoping to give Sir Alan Sugar a run for his money - by reaching the next stage of the national Young Enterprise competition.
The event takes place at Manchester Metropolitan University on May 1 and the winner and the runner-up will go on to the north west regional final in June.
All participants were given a real taste of life in business, setting up their own companies with the help of mentors from the Young Enterprise Company Programme.
The participants have also produced and sold a wide range of products with the team from AGSG, known as Restyled, created products that included a pen holders made from orange drink cartons.
Also flying the flag for Trafford at the event are teams from Loreto Grammar School and Altrincham Grammar School for Boys.
