The six dancers Cerys Fairhurst, Amy Clancy, Amy Jackson, Bethan Lee, Lydia Riley, Laura Gillaspy) were attending the 2014 National Youth Sport Trust (YST) Conference with teaching staff from the school to perform an aerobics routine they had choreographed themselves.
Lydia Riley, one of the dancers, said: “It was nervewracking, but very exciting, especially to meet such inspiring sporting heroes that we recognised and already admired.”
