A LOLLIPOP man has been hit by a car in Timperley.
The school crossing patrol man was hit by a Peugeot just after 9am this morning on Shaftesbury Avenue.
The 50-year-old man suffered cuts and bruises but was not seriously injured.
He had been helping schoolchildren heading to Cloverlea Primary School across the road before he was hit.
No children were involved in the collision.
A witness said: “He was flung 7ft in the air like a rag doll and he fell on his side. It was absolutely horrific.”
