Cycling Together for Healthy Hearts
THE 'Love Your Bike' campaign and Wythenshawe Hospital have teamed up to encourage people to get on their bikes.
To mark British Heart Foundation’s ‘Wear Red Day’ there was a ‘Bike Friday’ cycle ride headed off from Exchange Square in Manchester, arriving at Wythenshawe Hospital’s North West Heart Centre last Friday.
The riders dressed in red to help promote the awareness day and raise money for heart charity the Ticker Club and the British Heart Foundation.
UHSM’s Chairman, Felicity Goodey, the chairman of University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust - which runs Wythenshawe Hospital - welcomed the cyclists as they arrived at the heart centre, pictured.
