AN EVENT called 'We're Going Poppy Mad' is being held at Holy Cross Church Hall, Park Road, Timperley on Saturday, April 30 from 10 to 4pm.
There will be family art workshops running all day, aimed at and supporting local businesses, families, service providers, while raising funds for the Poppy Appeal.
Attractions include a chance for visitors to paint their own poppy pot; stalls for poppy cupcakes and homemade goodies and refreshments; a range of stands from local traders; a poppy colouring corner; face painting and a raffle.
There will also be outside 'table top' pitches.
