MONEY raised through a game show event organised by Asda Trafford Park will be donated to two Stretford good causes.

Any money raised through the supermarket’s first Asda Price Guarantee (APG) road show in the borough will be added up, multiplied and donated to Longford Park Junior Football Club and Pets Corner, also based at Longford Park.

Longford Park Juniors will use the money for new kit and equipment, while Pets Corner hope to purchase new enclosures for a selection of its animals, which it hopes will help it provide a better experience for visitors from the community.

The road show, which will take place at Chill Factore 9am-5pm from January 26 to January 27, will challenge players to guess the savings made by Asda on a selection of products shown to them.

Asda Trafford Park general store manager, Paul Middleton, said: “The APG Road Show is going to be a fun way to show our customers that we are serious about our price guarantee.

“By being able to raise money for Longford Park JFC and Pets Corner, we can ensure that these savings also go to great causes which are important and much-loved parts of our community.”
