Youths set fire to shed at Urmston nursery

FIRE crews were called to Bright Futures Day Nursery, Urmston, after youths set fire to a shed and fence.


Firefighters from Stretford and Phillips Road stations arrived at the nursery, on Flixton Road, at around 10pm on January 6.


A plastic shed and two fence panels had been set alight, the crews put out the blaze with a hose reel but the shed and panels were completely destroyed.


It is thought the fire was started by youths with matches.
