BOSSES at the new Stretford Tesco store have head hunted former Corrie Freshco employees Curly Watts and Andy McDonald to work at the store on opening day.
The new store, on Chester Road will open its doors for the first time at 8am on November 26, when customers will be greeted by the stars - actors Kevin Kennedy and Nicholas Cochrane - who will put in a shift from 9am until 12noon.
To mark the opening, store manager Dominic Carey will present a representative from the North West Air Ambulance with a £1,000 donation during an official launch ceremony at 10am. Customers will then be invited to enjoy free cake and champagne.
