KATE Green spoke up for new mothers and young families today at a seminar organised by Maternity Action, a consortium of organizations campaigning for the health and wellbeing of pregnant women and new mothers.

The seminar, on the subject of ‘Maternity, paternity and parental leave reforms: the health and equality impacts’, explored the impact that Government reforms will have on the health and wellbeing of mothers and their families.

Speaking at the seminar, Stretford and Urmston MP Ms Green said “It’s vital that new parents get the support they need to care for and enjoy their babies.
