TWO Altrincham-based businesses are celebrating the completion of Knutsford’s first town centre residential development in 10 years.

Norbury’s Yard is a development of 13 Georgian inspired houses by Hillcrest Homes which were designed in partnership with Calderpeel FGA. Demand was high from the outset with properties reserved even before construction began in December 2013.

Norbury’s Yard is built around a car-free courtyard, which also provides a pleasant new pedestrian gateway between the Moor and the Knutsford town centre..

The homes fronting The Moor, off Church Walk, offer individual bridges providing access over the River Lily to their front doors.

Hillcrest has been handing the keys to the new residents along with an innovative Well-Being Welcome Pack - the result of an exciting new partnership with leading skincare and nutritional experts, Arbonne.

Each of the homes at Norbury’s Yard will be furnished with complimentary health and wellbeing products, including vegan and non-parabin body wash products and nutritional aids such as vitamin and protein drinks, encouraging residents to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

Sales and development manager for Hillcrest, Stewart Chance, said: “A huge amount of time, energy and passion has been invested in the design and development of this scheme so we feel a considerable sense of achievement to have completed it and to have sold all of the homes off plan.”

Hillcrest will now turn its attention to the delivery of 59 new one and two bedroom apartments at Altair, Altrincham’s new lifestyle and residential quarter, which recently received planning approval.

Other local Hillcrest projects planned to start this summer include the development of the former Hale Library site into eight luxury homes.
