GLOBAL recruitment consultancy Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is set to launch an extensive recruitment campaign, which will create 40 jobs at its HQ in Altrincham.

The campaign will aim to attract 40 trainees who will enrol on WRS’ training and progression programme as part of WRS’ long-term growth strategy.

2015 has been a strong year for WRS, having won a string of awards including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade and a placing in The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.

To support its growth, WRS has appointed Emma Hughes, who will be taking on an integral role of internal recruitment manager which encompasses both internal attraction and recruitment as well as aspects of HR and learning and development under the leadership of WRS’ head of learning and development, Ash McDonagh.

Ash McDonagh said: “I’m sure I can speak for everyone here at WRS when I say we’re delighted to welcome Emma on board. She is a really promising talent and I am personally excited to work with her over the coming months.

“We are looking to take on around 40 new recruits throughout the course of 2016 who will join our existing team of highly successful consultants. We will be focusing on recruiting trainees ranging from graduates to those looking for a career change – our approach has always been to 'recruit for attitude and train for skill'. We have an exceptional training infrastructure to develop and deliver the skills for all our employees to succeed.”

WRS has enhanced its capabilities globally during a year of investment that has seen office openings in Singapore and Abu Dhabi and an augmented service proposition across its core business sectors.

Mark Brown, WRS’ managing director, said: “We have advanced our business globally this year, however, our primary commitment has and always be to developing the skills and work experience of our staff and that will continue into 2016 and beyond.“
