Works on A56 Chester Road, Stretford

MOTORISTS are being advised of work due to start on the A56 Chester Road, Stretford, which is likely to cause delays to traffic.

Sewer connection works to facilitate the new Tesco store will start on April 2 and are scheduled to last for two weeks over the Easter holidays.

Traffic along the A56 Chester Road, between the junctions of Ravenswood Road and Warwick Road, will be reduced to one lane at times and controlled under temporary traffic signals.

Drivers should consider an alternative route or allow additional time to make journeys in this area.
